  I bring my chocolate lab in to get shampooed, and they always give him back looking ready for the Westminster Dog Show! Their moisturizing shampoo and conditioner not only looks great, but really helps his skin and keeps his shedding down. Very nice people and they have a great selection of dog food and treats too. Go see them!

  I was looking for a store in the area with premium dog foods. Kosmo's was the first locally owned store to come to mind. Last time we went, we had a not so fantastic time with the self wash service. When I walked in today, the entire layout of the store was different and the employees were HAPPY! I was greeted instantly and offered assistance. I told her that my Doberman had been on raw food for 2 years, and due to some financial circumstances, that I had to (hopefully temporarily) transition him to Kibble for the time being. The problem I was having was getting him to eat the kibble. I will be the first to admit that I am a dog food snob. And I aws happily delighted when not only did she understand my concerns, but she was SO knowledgable about dog foods, nutritional needs, and whatnot. I was blown away. You simply do not find this kind of knowledge or passion at other pet supply stores. She offered several different solutions and in the end I tried out a few of them. She went above and beyond by completely understanding my struggle with trying kibble after kibble and thus sent me home with a nice variety of samples for my dog to try. This was so unexpected, but at the same time, amazingly generous. The experience I had here today is what has won me back over to Kosmo's. Oh, and did I mention, their new self service dog wash looks fantastic :) I can't wait to try it

  Great selection of dog and cat natural pet food. Self service dog wash is super cheap and convenient. The manger offered to deliver my food to me because I live far from their store.

  I had used them at least 6 times with good results, then a disaster with horrible customer service recovery. I would highly recommend every one skip patronizing this business with owners that do not give a rip. I had my Chinese Crested in for a grooming when the power went out in the business area. Obviously just bad luck for both myself, and the business. More so for me, as it is a 1.5 round trip from where I live. But cannot blame this part on the business. I return the second day, and my dog receive such a bad haircut it was almost funny. Very choppy and crooked, when you looked at the hair hanging below her mouth straight on, it was cut at an obvious slant. The hanging hair left on one ear was about 1/2" longer than the other ear. Random long poofs of hair all over the rest of her. Obvious uneven chop lines. It was almost a laughable spoof where you would expect Candid Camera to pop out, it was so ridiculously bad. However the 10 hours of driving and the $60 did not make it the least funny. I picked her up in a hurry before closing hours the second day. When we got her back home in good light the horrible hack hair cut became obvious. I call one of the co-owners the next morning and told her a visual was worth a million words. She said to bring her back to be fixed, and promised a certificate for the next groom. In context I took that to mean a deserved free groom. For the third time, another 45 minute return drive, same horrible hack hair cut in a shorter version. To add injury to insult they took all day so it took another 1.5 hour round trip to retrieve her. The certificate turned out to be a coupon for 15% off the next groom, this was the ultimate insult. I asked to have the owner call me the next day, no call. I called back once more, no owner in, once again for a return call, no call.
