  I would really only give it s 1/2 star if possible or I knew how to do it. There is nothing sparse about these rooms all their is so much openness it echoes to loudly. The motel actually looks like a building from some war torn neighborhood in Syria. The window units are so bad they should be condemned. And at knight time it takes all of your nerve to go outside, the TV's butttons were missing so you had to use a poker as a remote, since the budget does not include one. My partner and I in this overnighter were supplied with one towel that was unclean from the start to use between us and no wash cloth. As we opted to give or towel to a working man and his woman as they were already guest and were given none as he was complaining about his non deserved deliemma. I had just started filling out my paper work. Hey for 48.50 a knight they are not even handing linen. I know this these folks from over there have no problem taking your hard earned US greenbacks and giving you a stay in place barley better than a county jail. So really spend the extra 10.00 or 15.00 bucks and go elsewhere. Really how do you not have clean towels or wash clothes for the guests. I could see if there were no vacancies it a special event other than free-loading a job, but there were no more than 8 cars in the whole place. Hospitality at its worst, I can tell you this the knights inn in down town San Antonio is lights years beyond the FunkyTown knights inn.

  The saying "you get what you pay for" should be the slogan for this place. The whole place is run down and for the price you should expect the old televisions and the old decor. This place doesnt look like its had a remodel ever. I didn't even bring all my luggage in and only stayed because it was one night and I would be at work the whole night and would only need to sleep here for a couple hours in the morning. Take a look at the pictures I posted and compare those to the ones on the site. I would have to say bait an switch. I doubt there's a room here that looks like the pictures the hotel posted.

  Literally.....we checked in....and I brought a few bags inside and set them on the desk. Not even 5 secs later, I turn around a huge ass roach just crawling around the floor. So I call the front desk and he says he will "upgrade me" ... I seriously almost threw up....there was blood or some wierd red stuff on the Wall and it was jusy painted over. The beds werent even washed, had mans hair all over the place like leg or arm hair....WAS DISGUSTING. OH AND WILL BE HAPPILY POSTING MY PHOTOS. CHARGED ME 195$ AND GOING BACK IN THE MORNING TO GET A REFUND OF SOME SORT....can barely sleep RN at a different hotel my family and I came to instead MUCH NICER! DON'T WASTE YOUR $ HERE😷

  I was a little stressed after reading the reviews, knowing I paid in advance.. but, it wasn't that bad. I knew from the cheap price alone that it wasn't going to be the best place, but it was affordable.. So I took a chance. The fridge was clean, and functional, and apartment size. The microwave was clean and functional. Hot water was extra hot, cold water was extra cold. TV was functional and had good picture. Drapes are blackout. A/c and heat both worked awesome. The floors and dresser were clean and in newer condition. The closet was huge for a motel. And despite all the reviews complaining about towels and sheets being worn and dirty, mine were like new. Mattress was soft and comfortable. Not a single bedbug, roach, or rat. The tub and walls need new paint, but otherwise I didn't have a single complaint. Other than, I wish they had coffee before 8am. But, 7-11 is right down the road..

  I've chosen to give the Knights Inn 5 stars. 4 Main reasons: #1 The lady in the office is truly kind and is doing the best she can. #2 The prices are good. If you are low income or you are on a tight budget then this is the spot. #3 The rooms are very large. They were probably at one point furnished with a couch. #4 weekly rates are low. Currently priced at 240.00. 270.00 with a pet, and that includes tax. Rates are always changing though. Overall I am satisfied with my experience. Hope this info helps.
