Excellent choice for the anchor restaurant in a larger hotel. Food was fresh, service was great. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal

People describe this as amazing. They had a good venue, the atmosphere was completely off for a southern restaurant. I understand it's supposed to be upscale southern but it was still odd. The food was not super impressive. What me and the person with me ordered were just underwhelming.

Good food. Fresh and well balanced. A little over priced but I guess that’s what you get being attached to a hotel. That said, one of the best hotel restaurants I’ve been to for breakfast. French toast was flavorful with lots of fresh berries. Country ham was thinly sliced with a salty and crispy taste. Brisket hash was smoked well with tender and flavorful meat. Biscuits were extremely good - very buttery but still flakey. Served with nice jams.

‘Southern restaurant with a European touch’ Kitchen Notes offers high quality food and drinks right at the heart of Nashville. With an intensive wine and cocktails menu and a list of carefully selected food options, Kitchen Notes brings the best of southern food with a European twist. There are several vegan and vegetarian options on the menu as well as dishes including fish and meat. We had a set of devilled eggs as a starter which I highly recommend, especially as an appetiser if you were coming only for a drink. For lunch we had a chicken pot pie coming in a cast iron pot (pipping hot!), really well presented, great in taste but perhaps too heavy. We also had pot fried salmon with grilled grapefruit, beautiful plated, rich in taste and not dry at all. The decor in the restaurant is elegant and inviting and the ambience is definitely one of the best things about this restaurant.
