  These guys are fantastic. Honest and very thorough. Come to them if you have experienced repeated problems and need it fixed the right way, for an honest price.

  Finding a good mechanic is like searching for a good dentist. Extremely customer orientated, and won’t steer you wrong. They point out what you need to fix if you wanna avoid costly problems. Steve is welcoming as soon as you walk in. I have finally found my mechanic here in Staten Island. Will definitely come (Two years later). Don’t read into the bad reviews. They really care about you not your wallet.

  Dont get me wrong: they do a good job and thats what will bring you back. I liked the guys here. I tipped them. I bought them coffee and donuts once for some great work they'd done....BUT I should've paid attention more so I could've learned sooner how shady Kirks can be. I've been going here for a little over 2 years and EVERY time I brought my car in, something needed replacing. Last straw was an $850 job that they said I NEEDED done. I took my car to another reputable mechanic my parents have been going to for years, and got my car fixed for $250. Before giving this review, I waited 6 months/5k miles and another trip to my parents' mechanic for an oil change to make sure everything is still ok. Lo and Behold, my car is still running fine and didn't need the repairs Kirk claimed.

  Great establishment. First time going there but will be back thanks to quality of service and customer service.

  I brought my car into kirks bc a to replace brakes and rotors. I explained to him the problem and he was very dismissive and in my opinion seemed like a jerkoff. I asked him to call me and too give me a price and he told me 750$, For what he said were brakes rotors and calipers. I told him not to do anything bc I knew i was getting ripped off. He then tried to give me the hard sell by taking 50$ off. I said no. Took the car to another shop who I should of went too in the first place and it was 300$. I saved 450$ dollars by not going to this guy. This guy is a rip off and his customer service skills suck. Do not go to this guy. You can’t trust him!
