We went for the bones and bells tour. I think in our mind we we're going into a crypt. More like a basement with some brick enclosures. More filing cabinets than creeps. That being said the tour guide was engaging and really had a lot of history to tell us about. If you want to know a part of history of Boston then this is an essential stop.

Second church during our walking tour of Old Boston. A good stop for pictures and history. The current church started as a wooden building and if you want to see a reconstruction of that building using some of the original material, you will have to travel more than 500 miles northeast to the town of Lunenberg in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Although it's not pet friendly I do enjoy my regular visits here. I also feel welcome and every time I go I try to learn something new. This is a great spot to bring a local cub scout troop or your favorite uncle.

We didn't get to check out the chapel as they had a service going on but the attached Cemetery was very neat to see especially what looked like a pit or just a well. To read and see the engravings on the head stones were very neat. The weathered and how they wrote on them back in that era was really nice to see. There was also a section covered in a type of Ivey was just beautiful. A site worth checking out for the cool factor.

Awesome to see a church that is essentially the same as it was in the 1700s. Very historical sight. If you are able, the Bells & Bones tour was the best tour my wife and I went on in the city. You have to be able to handle a lot of stair and some low-clearance areas, but it is totally worth it.
