Great decor, incredible location. Court and the rest of the front desk staff are very attentive and informed. Feels like a good mix between boutique and traditional hotel. Wine hour and pretty good continental plus breakfast in the lounge, and a conveniently-located Tesla & EV charger on the side. Booking folks are very helpful, and the room interiors have well-chosen art and furniture. If you get too drunk at the bar, you can go across the street and blame Samuel Adams' grave.

Kimpton hotels are truly my favorite. My stay at Nine Zero was great as always. We enjoyed the complimentary wine hour and the concierge was very helpful with providing recommendations on where to eat and how to get around. Our room was lovely, the decor throughout the hotel was trendy and the service was good too. The hotel is in a great location and we were able to walk around and enjoy our short time in Boston. Late after dinner we decided to head down to Highball Lounge (which the hotel has direct access to) for a cocktail. As soon as the elevator doors opened we could hear the music going and were greeted by a bouncer. The place was packed and turned out to be a great time. The DJ played good music and the bartenders and scene were a lot of fun. It was a nice surprise that this place was an elevator ride from our room and at the end of the night we were back in our room in 2 minutes. Would definitely stay here again next time Iโ€™m in Boston!

Upon arrival, the check-in desk / makeshift bar was crowded with other guests that were drinking, talking loudly and bumping into my wife and I. We could barely make our way to speak to the front desk clerk and the noise was so loud, she had to repeat herself several times. When we got to our room, it was a disaster. There was only a tiny light over the door plus a single lamp on one side of the bed. We had to call the front desk to request additional lamps be brought up. When they brought them up, the maintenance worker realized we were missing furniture, too, and had to go find two small end tables that were supposed to be in the room to put the lamps on. Then we discovered that the wall desk from the hotel site photos had been removed, along with a lamp that was supposed to be attached to a wall mirror on one side of the bed. Turns out, the mini-bar was locked, too, and had the handle removed. Finally, there was only a single near empty roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and the shower was dirty. We had to call housekeeping to fix that. The good news is that we know to never stay in a Kimpton property again.

We were treated with a thoughtful birthday card, cupcakes, chocolate dipped strawberries and a bottle of champagne when we arrived! They had placed in a room with a queen bed when we booked a king bed and changed our room the next day with a beautiful view of the Boston Common and it's festive Christmas lights. The staff were fabulous, and that says it all. We go back the same wkend in December to celebrate our birthdays and wedding anniversary and love it, it's a wonderful time for us!

This stay was one of my favorites. Customer service is superb and attentive. I called before our arrival, and informed them that we were staying at the Kimpton for my boyfriendโ€™s birthday. There was a bottle of champagne and cupcakes waiting for us in our room, with a personalized note from the hotel staff wishing him a happy birthday. Besides the hotel having some elevator issues, our stay was fantastic. I usually like to check out different hotels whenever I travel, but I will definitely be going back to Kimpton Nine Zero. Thanks to all the staff that were incredibly nice and that made us feel welcomed!
