  Great room, easy to get to and parking right across the street. With $10 a day in free drinks and food as part of the resort fee, this hotel was definitely somewhere I would recommend!

  Showed up for a meeting/photoshoot with someone in one of the rooms. The valet was not helpful in telling us where we could park because they just wanted us to use the valet. Then upon leaving, we were told to get our ticket validated so we didn't have to pay $30 for valet, and the front desk associate I spoke with wouldn't validate my ticket. He said because my appointment wasn't with a hotel staff member that it didn't count and I could just eat at their restaurant if I wanted validation. We went in and no one came to seat us, no one greeted us and the menu looked sort of boring. We ended up leaving and just paying the $30 to get the hell outta there!

  This is my third stay at a Kimpton hotel and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Clean, comfortable and pleasantly upscale in a neighborhood that had plenty happening to amuse everyone. A special treat to discover were the shuffle board and foosball tables up the stairs from the lobby and three old school arcade games that ran Space Invaders, Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, etc. It was a hoot getting my butt kicked by my daughter.

  Love the Kimpton properties and this one is no different. Great location. Spacious and clean room. Staff is courteous and attentive. One of my fav hotels in SD!

  Okay I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my travels around the world and I have to say I have never been so impressed with the service at this hotel. Phenomenal restaurant connected to the hotel amazing service staff going above and beyond to give you everything that you need. Perception is friendly and great willing to help you and specifically I'd like to call out the housekeeping staff which has kept our room in phenomenal shape day after day literally organizing to super fine details that I wouldn't do to my own house. The rooms are modern and Chic and have a balcony and the mattress is very comfortable. I will always be sure to check Kimpton Hotels at any of my destinations in the future they have earned my business. Let me State I have super high expectations and not only were these met and exceeded all at a very reasonable price.
