  The customer service here is horrible! I walked in and noticed the jewelry display which the manager K was restocking, I slowly touch it because im aware that she's working on it and she tells me to "excuse my hands!" I said "what?" She repeats herself, basically telling me to move my hands because she's working, that's strike 1. I have been to a number of retail stores and customers always come first, plus that's not how you should speak to ppl! Then, I go back to return an item and a worker tells me to stop at the front desk, she hands me an exchange ticket even though I told her I'm returning. I look at it and repeat that I want to return not exchange, she says don't look at it and go to the line, that's strike 2. Then while processing my return the girl asks for my info and signs me up for a rewards card without my consent because she was told that is their *return policy*. Even though the sign posted says that only a receipt is required for returns under 30 days, that's strike 3! This is an urban area so they think it's OK to treat ppl like they do and create their own store policies, but for me it's unacceptable! Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

  Good selection of suit's and separates. Wonderful selection of ties and a wonderful and engaging staff. However, after shopping at the Wayne location which has recently moved to the Totowa area I must say the overall appearance of the store itself leaves a lot to be desired. It looks as if it was once a warehouse of some kind, no carpeting to speak of on the floors, insufficient lighting. I could go on, but let's face it. It's in Irvington and the powers that be aren't concerned about it because it's in an urban location. That's right, I said it.

  K&G has high quality clothing, shoes, and accessories for the entire family, at a reduced cost. I often visit this store when I need to purchase a last minute item and there is not enough time to visit the nearby malls. The staff is usually helpful and courteous; however, a couple could improve upon their customer service skills.

  Girl at the counter was so helpful. She had colorful crochet dreads and glasses. She was so helpful to help get a register coupon for 20 dollars off!! Great service Girl!!

  The store has great deals and a variety of items to choose from. However, if you plan to get your items tailored from this location, I would go elsewhere. A month ago, I visited this location and invested over $500 in suites and accessories. I was planning on tailoring my items somewhere else but was insisted that I get them done at the location from the tailor. I had to visit the store a few times between 3/4/2018-4/18/2018 to re-alter my suites. I finally picked up my suites today and is still disappointed with the suites. I highly recommend anyone who plans to get their suites altered to visit somewhere else. Just want to help out.
