For all you dog owners who need your coffee in the morning, but can never bring your dog into the coffee shop during your walk this is the place for you. Walk up window with quick service and a great selection.

I am not well versed in Indonesian food as my prior experiences have been limited to perennial favorite simpang Asia, but the tastes here have not been watered down despite the hipster chic vibe and location. The sambal sampler is a great dish. The spices are allowed to take center stage and I am glad the shrimp paste one was allowed to taste shrimpy. I forsee that this is a dish everyone will order (as you should) but many will not finish due to the strong flavors. The pickled vegetables definitely help balance some of the stronger sambals. Service was attentively and friendly but not overbearing. The servers are well trained and know the menu, even during opening week. Portions are small but the price, given the DTLA location and hip ambiance, is quite fair. Overall a great dining experience and a place I would come back to.

Absolutely delicious! We were fortunate enough to live in the building where this restaurant is located and was invited to their grand opening. What a find! They have a full bar and food that is seasoned perfectly; from mild to spicy. We tried pork, chicken, beef, duck and fish delicacies and all were scrumptious. The pork with the crispy skin was out of this world and is a key factor in why I awarded five stars. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. I strongly recommend this restaurant!

Entire staff is friendly and dishes are on point. Rich in flavor but not overwhelming in spices. Looking forward to being a regular as Kasih & their Chef Zach offers authentic comfort food.
