I was down in my life for a bit and had to stay there one night. It was the most horrid situation I have ever been in. The man who runs it named Joe is an egomaniac. The man who runs the rehab part isn't much better. They use the homeless to Lord over the other homeless. They force their beliefs on people who just want to eat and have a place to stay. I ended up at the City Union Rescue Mission that was in my opinion much better. That was a short 2 week period of my life that I will never forget. I actually before my situation occurred donated to this place. "Never again". I donate to the City Union Mission now. Thanks all and God bless.

This place is a game changer. No other rehabs can compare.. most go for sobriety, I would imagine, but being sober is so small in comparison to what they leave there with. I have never in my life felt such love, support, and compassion from total strangers. KCRM brings life back into these men's eyes. Gives them hope, structure, and encouragement. They help to restore families that have been broken from addiction and abuse. The staff are a legit God send. Men and women devoting their lives to help and believe in these guys who everyone else has given up on.

Much better that City Union Mission. Showers are mandatory and this is enforced. All beds are stripped and cleaned daily. A much safer atmosphere. Everyone has to turn in their phones, cigarettes, etc. before entering the mission. Everyone is breathalyzed as well. Movie night replaces Chapel on Friday and game night is before Chapel on Saturday. Chapel is shorter than at City Union Mission and unlike City Union Mission they allow female pastors to deliver the message at KCRM.
