  Great brunch spot. Parking wasn't too difficult and wait for a table was only about 10 minutes on a Saturday around noon. Heavy California comfort foods mixed with vegan fare and some Cajun influences. Make sure to try a beignet (larger than you'd expect, always delicious). Choice of light and dark roast coffees on rotation. Staff were very attentive and helpful even through the crowd. Ambiance / decor is comfortable, light, open, and a bit plain with an eclectic flair. Will definitely return.

  Great service. Came here for the vegan options for brunch. The tofu and veggie stir fry was delicious! Looking forward to trying the other vegan options like the avocado toast and potatoes with veggies.

  The beignets were fresh, warm and fluffy. My husband had the biscuits and gravy and it was melt in your mouth goodness. I had the Nicolas salad and it was delightful. Very friendly wait staff and owner. Highly recommend this San Francisco institution!!

  I can totally understand why this place has so many great reviews! The food here is outstanding and the portions are good size. The home-made bread is delicious and I preferred the rye over the sourdough. We're there on Sunday morning around 9am and the queue was already long - took 30min for 2 people to get a table

  This cafe has the most attentive staff and are generous people. I felt appreciated and sort of at home in a lot of ways. I got the soup of the day with the garlic bread, heaven to my tastebuds. I also got their Cobb salad and it is worth every cent. Fresh crispy lettuce, thick cut bacon bits, juicy tomatoes and plenty of ham. So delicious! I will certainly be dining here again in the future.
