  Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. When asked a question they get you to someone on the staff that really knows the answer. They often have things that even the big box stores don't have.

  Always helpful staff close to home. Unlike the big box stores, they're ready to help figure out any project, and order any items they don't stock.

  I stopped by this place on my way home from dropping my son off at Madison. I had some free time and this place has a lot of cool stuff so I was browsing. I had a basket with some small things in it. All of a sudden this huge man walks up to me and shouts "look man don't have time for this" like I'm involved in whatever situation is playing out in his head. I though some crazy guy wandered in off the street so I started looking around for an employee or something. Then he says "you walked down every aisle, your obviously a shoplifter". First of all we are in west Seattle, there's no way this place has a huge shoplifting problem. Second, I have a basket with all the stuff I'm buying. I asked the man what his name was and he became furious, he visibly held himself back from putting his hands on me. This guy was hyper paranoid, aggressive, and hostile. Judging from his size, complexion, and behavior I'd say he was in a 'roid rage' from excessive use of steroids. I put my basket down and left immediately. I had to call the place to get this mans name and register a complaint. Turns out this crazy guy is the owner Mike Colston. If you are under 90 years old and don't want to be profiled and possibly assaulted I would advise you to avoid this place, Home Depot is right down the street.

  They have a surprisingly large amount of things I need that I can't find anywhere. I go there for one thing and am shocked to find the other things I was looking for. It's not a huge place. How do they do that!?! The service is the very best part too. Such friendly knowledgeable people.

  The best neighborhood hardware store in Seattle. Big curb appeal, selection and a great staff. Employees take pride in their work and it shows - the space is immaculate and well organized. Employees are also knowledgeable and quick to offer a hand.
