  Jules is a true professional and is amazing at what she does. I had never had my hair colored before. Starting with the consultation she took me through the whole process and made me feel very comfortable. Jules really reminded me of a doctor in terms of the level of expertise and knowledge that she has. She is incredibly dedicated to her field and has worked many years to become this skilled! We started out with a consultation where she talked to me about my specific needs. In my case I wanted to try a new color and get some contrast but also needed my look to be low maintenance due to a busy lifestyle. She discussed with me the pros and cons of all the possible options and gave her recommendations. I was really impressed by how much pride she puts into her work. She also takes great care to maintain the quality of hair with all her approaches. In my case we were able to go with an option that would lighten my hair without bleaching, and we chose slightly more natural coloring (but still definitely apparent) so that I could grow my look out, as my work/ lifestyle doesn't allow very frequent touch-ups. I didn't really know anything about hair, so I'm very grateful to Jules that she took the time to really give her recommendations while finding something that I would still love. She takes great care to make sure that the hair is conditioned well at various stages. From talking to her I learned that not all stylists do this and coloring hair the wrong way can really damage the hair, even make it melt off! When I saw the final outcome I was so impressed. I looked great and the quality of my hair also looked great. Jules also gave me a long layer cut as well and this was beautifully done. I also really appreciated that Jules taught me a lot about how to take care of my hair afterwards and gave me a lot of advice. She talked to me about the types of shampoo and conditioner and detangler and products that would be good for my hair specifically. I think she does sell products but she wasn't trying to sell me anything. She really just wanted to teach me how to maintain my hair as best as possible, and I learned a lot. I followed her instructions and now about 3 months out my hair still looks amazing. I receive compliments about my hair frequently. I'm really happy with all of the time and attention and expertise Jules puts into her work. She is definitely someone that you can trust your hair and look with!
