  PLEASE IGNORE THE ONE STARS. I have no idea who they are talking about. This store is for leather connoisseurs and admirers of quality. This place needs 10 stars. I've been a customer of Joseph Hanna since March 1997. I know this because my very first gift to myself when I got my first job out of college was a proper briefcase. When I met Joseph he was quiet but knew his work. When you walk into the store you can see and smell the love he and his team put into their craftsmanship. My briefcase has been to several countries around the world. I never leave it. With every promotion, every relocation, my first bag has been there. It has lasted the test of time. Along the years I purchased a messenger bag, saddle bag, my wife's briefcase and gifts for others. The quality is beyond reproach. I still have my bag over 20 years later and it looks fantastic. Be sure to get the moisturizer to keep the leather soft. This was the absolute best money I've very spent. The key chain in the picture was my original key chain from 20 years ago. QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY. Spend the money. It's worth every penny and don't forget to get your initials for the extra touch. Congratulation Joseph Hanna on your lasting legacy.

  I had a wallet that I got engraved as a gift for my significant other here. It turned out absolutely lovely. The owner was very nice and even threw in some free leather key chains. The actual shop is small and cozy. When you walk in you can see the tools and machines they use to create the leather. It feels very rustic- almost brings you back in time. Would recommend!

  A hidden gem in NYC, that haven't been expose and need more of your attention they using genuine leather which is a fine craft matetials. They also provide free maintenance for the item that you purchase from the shop. There are only few authentic place like this . You can also customize you own leather piece/ bag with your own design is a one of kind experience. Will stop by again if I stop by new York again.

  It's a small store, kinda old school, but definitely a place worth a visit. Plenty of good options at a very reasonable price!
