  Years ago I sold menswear in downtown Tulsa. I hadn't bought a suit in years and it was time to go to Jos. A. Bank. I called and spoke to Meagan. She told me she would take care of me and I was off. She has VERY good taste and was ready to help me. Being new--if she wasn't sure about something she would consult the tailor or a Sr. Associate. A truly great, and professional experience! Thank you Jos. A. Bank!

  I checked it out and wasn't impressed, people always say this is the place if you're a defense attorney and need to keep you clients looking sharp

  My experience was a helpful and welcoming staff. If I'd experienced other reviewer Chris Le's situation, I'd have been mad too. Goes to show you that the same clothing store, bar, club or restaurant can give great service, experience and product one day, then lousy the next.

  I was there on Labor Day, early, thinking that I could get an early start on shopping. When my parents and I walked in (keep in mind, I'm 31, not 15) we were set on getting suits for me and my father. The only employee there did not greet us. In fact, I walked right in front of him, and he didn't bother looking up. It was a few minutes later that he finally said something. "I'll be with you in a few minutes." There was no one else in the store. We proceeded to look around on our own. I went over to the employee and asked how the suits were arranged. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt on this next one (going to assume he didn't mean to talk down to me, since there wasn't a negative tone in his voice) "They start small (points to one side) then proceeds to get larger (points to the other side). Meaning it goes from 36 to 38 to 40 and so on." Presumably I know what small to large means, but I'll give him this one. I thank him and go back to looking at suits. He comes over and doesn't ask us how we're doing, but says "Let me know if you need anything." and proceeds to walk off. I've worked retail before and I've purchased from Jos A. Bank before, and this was so shocking to me. The final straw was when a couple walks in and he immediately greets them, with a smile no less. "Hi guys. What can I help you with today?" My parents and I left, and we're pretty sure that we won't be returning.
