  I have been in this particular store only a few times and it's because the first time the employee (s) seem to look down on me. When white customers walked in they spoke up and greeted them with a smile. I've been in this particular store I believe there times now and had this same type of problem from white and black employees. I've been a customer of Johnson and Murphy for years now and all other stores, I've had great customer service, except for this location.

  Moses the shoe shine and cobbler is fantastic. He does his job well and, maybe even more importantly, with a smile. Couldn't recommend him enough for shoe repair or just a shine.

  The 5 Stars is for the Cobbler (Moses) who has shined my shoes for the last 3 years. He specializes in luxury men shoes and takes great care when polishing. He offers heel replacement, taps (toe & heel) and drop-off service as well. He also offers services for women's heels. I've also trusted him with cleaning my leather sneakers. Hands down Moses is the best cobbler in DC.
