High fashion Detroit style. Great building, cool threads, lots of style. John Varvatos grew up in Detroit before making a name for himself in the NYC fashion industry. He is bringing high fashion class back to Woodward Ave. Men's clothing, music and more. Very cool place - check it out.

Great employees there to help you out whenever you need it. They have a wide selection of clothing and sometimes they have amazing sales and you can save hundreds.

Stopped in to buy a birthday present for my husband. A little pricey, but a very unique selection of quality items. Managed to find the perfect jacket and shirt to match. Staff was friendly and went out of their way in trying to help find my husband's sizes.

Eclectic store in a historic building. Featuring a gorgeous black crystal chandelier, cool vibe, designer duds, expensive guitars and good selection of rock & roll art books and vintage turntables.

First, I must say the clothing is great. My first experience with a John V. store was in Vegas a few weeks ago. We shopped and had wonderful help from one of the employees at that store (Alex). He informed us of the Detroit store. Well, we were excited to do some more shopping on a day trip to Detroit last weekend. NOT impressed. While the store was very cool, the staff was of no help. They had better things to do than help us--talk to each other, look at their phones and help hold the counter up. Store had 3 other customers while we were there, so no, they were not busy. Had the Detroit store been our first encounter, we would probably not return to any store. We left with no purchases. Thankfully, we are headed back to Vegas in a few weeks and will return the store at Ceasars. Will check out the Detroit store again sometime, hopefully staff will be more helpful.
