::This park is always kept clean. View of the city is amazing. Great for jogging, biking, walking, and my favorite rollerblading!

::Great public space. Quiet and clean. Great spot for landscape photographs and selfies.

::It's a great park with a east river view. A tennis court, basketball courts, baseball fields, and football fields also a small soccer field. Plus a track and handball court and amphitheater for special events. You can also bbq in areas designated. You'll see the grills. Great place for a picnic with the family or to exercise.

::In all kinds of weather this park is the best. Whether you run, play sports, do body weight workouts, like fishing, have dogs, or just want to go for a walk or a picnic, this is the place to go on the Lower East Side. It will be even better when the track is finished in (hopefully) Fall 2018. I hope to see you out there having a blast!

::I was reluctant to do a "tourist" thing. Yet once we got out on the water, the perspective was so unique I gained new insights only available from that floating vantage point. For me, it was the return. We saw what those early European immigrants saw. The Statue of Liberty coming in to view. Growing ever larger and wonderful. It took my cynical breath away. Think what it must have done for them. No wonder their patriotism was so strong.
