  Great quality shoes and awesome, knowledgeable staff who don’t pressure you into anything. I’ve walked past here a million times and had never set foot inside before because I’ve never spent more than $50 on a pair of shoes in my life. Decided to buy a couple pairs of ‘grown up’ shoes and got some really nice shoes and a great pair of boots with the help of the friendly folks working there. I’ve never found high quality shoes that give good support, etc. and also look good at the same time, but apparently they do exist! They certainly aren’t cheap (as compared to my crappy shoes I’ve always bought, anyway) but they are really well made and will last a looong time, plus you can bring them back into the store and they will polish them up for you and even teach you how to take care of them (if you’re like me and have no earthly clue how to take care of nice shoes/boots.) And considering I spend $50 every 4-5 months on a new pair of crappy shoes, after the initial price tag shock wore off I realized buying one or two nice pairs of shoes every five years will be way cheaper in the long run. Besides that, taking a few months to pay off my credit card bill is totally worth it to have good quality, good looking shoes that will also help me to have less back/leg/foot pain. I’ll be back here when I need another pair of cute, high-quality shoes (...and when I get a few more paychecks in the bank.) Definitely recommend checking this place out!

  Truly, unique soles for unique souls. Yes, very expensive, but high quality and head-turning. Watch for their sales.

  Vancouver based John Fluevog is a genius who has managed to turn the cobbler's craft into an art form. This shop was crafted with the shoe lover in mind - with seating benches built in around the periphery and an island populated with quirky and colorful shoes and boots for both women and men. Come in for a chat with the wonderful sales people and to feast your eyes on a full menu of colors and styles. While challenging, it is still occasionally possible to find free parking in the streets surrounding the uptown area. Pay ramps and lots are available within a one block radius of the shop. Layaway is accepted.

  Very eccentric shoes that can really reflect your personality as an individual. Located right on Hennepin so it is very accessible. The prices are quite expensive though.
