  Good service, good food. I'm always inclined to have an oyster po'boy, but the daily specials are great! Thursday I had the meatloaf, which was excellent; it comes with sides of Mac and cheese - which would be a cliche if it weren't so good! - and green beans, also good. I tell everyone I like that they should visit Joey K's.

  Been going there for years. Good homestyle food and reasonable prices. Lots of locals eat there, so you know you can't go wrong.

  I give this place 5 stars for customer service. They went above and beyond to make this tired momma happy. The fried green tomatoes and shrimp were good. Enviornment was fun and relaxing. And most of all, they had reasonable prices.

  My mom has been coming to this establishment for years and has always enjoyed it. This time however, was not enjoyable. We waited for a table for three for about 20 minutes or so. Not to bad a wait. But after we sat down, we wished we'd gone somewhere else. Problem #1 The saucers given to us by our waitress were still dirty, they had pieces of food still on them. Problem #2 Our waitress was terrible and I really wish we'd gone somewhere else. She took forever to get anything we asked for, and refills, please. I considered going to get my own water. I ran out three times, RAN OUT. Of water. How a waitress in a small restaraunt with two other waitresses taking care of some of the other tables allows you to run out of something as simple as water is beyond me. Problem #3 When we finally received our food. We were disappointed. I can't remember exactly what we ordered, but I can remember the shrimp count being ridiculous. I got three pieces of shrimp, while my mom got 5. The crawdads that came with whatever I ordered were disgusting. The only good part of my meal was the catfish. They know how to cook that apparently. How this place receives five star ratings baffles me. It's honestly a sad place to eat. My advice, go somewhere else.

  The fries artichokes are so good!! The sauce was actually really good too and it was super fresh. My girlfriend got the rice and beans and she loves it. I tried it as well and it was surprisingly good. The beers come in a giant glass which is nice as well.
