::10/10 there chicken is even better than canes! Plus they have a variety of sauces to go with it. There drink selection is all natural sodas hard to find anywhere else. Plus the waffles are just perfect

::I have been to Joella"s many times and have found the food very good. The last 4 times I have been I have ordered the chicken and waffles. Each time the waffle has been cold and somewhat stale, even to the point where it does not begin to melt the butter. Please make the waffles fresh when the entree is ordered. Cold waffles take the fun out of going there.

::The chicken is good but they are a little overpriced for what you get. They are a total ripoff on draft beer. They should get real on their method of dispensing it. If you like paying $6 for a glass of sudsy draft, then sure, suds it up. And they charge you for the suds! It might cost you $10 for an honest glass. They have this one snotty kid who takes your order, and he pretty much ruins the experience. He must be the owner's kid or something. No personality. Kind of snooty. Gives you an attitude if you point anything out to him. The decor is rather chintzy. I noticed this big pop bottle lid sign for Cheer Wine. Seriously? That is about the nastiest pop on the market and ruins my appetite thinking about it. The attempt at throwback decor looks like someone ripped the wrong stuff off at Cracker Barrel. Also, what's the deal with asking people to use the back door to exit and roping off the entry to order? It's not like people are lined up into the parking lot to get in. I don't see this place lasting very long. There are a lot of places with good chicken. Go buy some Cane's, and if you want a draft with it, take your food down to Country Boy's and eat there. You will just pay $3 for a full glass of their beer...with no suds. Sorry, Joella's you can't hold a candle to Billy's, which occupied the place for years.

::I like Joella's. Good atmosphere. You can have a few beers and watch sports inside. I've gotten the half dark and the tenders before, medium hot, hot and once I got the hottest they had. I like spicy food, but the hottest they had was seriously face-burning hot. The sides are pretty good too, like mac and cheese, vinegar slaw, and garlic fries. Got food to go today, still good but maybe it had been sitting out for a little whole because it was slightly cold, but still tasted good.

::Everyone seems to love this place, so I thought I would check it out. Coming from the South, I have no idea why they are calling this hot chicken. I honestly found it to taste kinda bland. The service is good though, and the self-serve beer is pretty cool. That being said, I do not see myself going back.
