  I recently purchased a CPO Tiguan. It was positive experience and I enjoyed working with Salesman Jose Tavarez during the transaction. I highly recommend Joe Heidt VW in Ramsey NJ.

  If you want to pay a lot of money for a car, and then get hit with fees on top of that, this is the dealer for you. Unfortunately, the VW dealer we dealt with in Nyack closed, and we came here. Big difference. We used to get a fair price, didn't have to negotiate anything, and got great service. NOt so here. We ordered a car, and the salesman committed to a price, and then, when the car came in, told us it was $3000 more. We had to fight a lot to get it down to something more reasonable. And then... they charged us $370 for document processing PLUS $190 for registration. At the old dealer it was all together only $70 for docs. Finally, we agreed. But even then, the plates weren't there on the day promised, and we wound up having to drive over multiple times, and finally got the plates on the very last day of the valid temp plates. Bottom line, beware if working with this dealer. Thy seem nice, but will push costs on you every way they can. Once they have your money, they don't care about service.

  My lease at Hyundai was soon to be up and because I was careless, I was feeling utterly hopeless about all the end-of-lease fees. With that burden in mind, I visited a couple of other dealers but had no luck. Many of them wanted large down payments, on top of high monthly payments. My cousin then recommended and accompanied me to Joe Heidt in Ramsey. In a matter of an hour or two, Richard found the perfect car, a white Volkswagen Jetta and at an excellent price point. He was able to work with me on the down payment and monthly payment without having to sacrifice a quality car. I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. Richard’s customer service at Joe Heidt was outstanding. Thanks Rich!

  Richard Song was incredibly helpful salesperson, but proved to be much more than that. I came to the dealership to buy a new car at an inopportune moment, but Richard came to my aid even at the cusp of closing hours. During that time, he was patient and put my concerns and numerous questions of buying a new car to ease with his empathy and knowledge of the car mechanics. From his dedication, I felt confident to obtain a car that would safely carry my family and myself to where we needed all over New Jersey. And we will be thanks to Richard.
