  Joanne is the best Pilates teacher I ever had . I hadn't understood the significance of working my core until I met her. She pays extreme attention to detail and gives detailed, helpful corrections and tips. She is like a physical therapist and chiropractor and fitness trainer rolled into one. She's also cheerful and fun, without being overwhelming. i just love her ! she is amazing !!

  During the time I spent there, I gained a better understanding of the muscle imbalances within my body, and was offered a concise and customized program to fix them. I now have more relief in my shoulders, back, and knees.

  Joanne is a vibrant, energetic, knowledgeable and caring instructor.She makes sure that each student works within their capacity and makes herself aware of each student's individual medical issues. I've been working out with Joanne for many years and feel so much better after each class

  I've been with Joanne nearly a year. I arrived at her studio with chronic shoulder and upper back pain for which I took cortisone shots that hardly helped. Shortly after taking her pilates class I no longer experienced any pain. Additionally her private classes have spared me from getting knee surgery. She taught me how to strengthen and balance all the muscles around the affected area to strengthen my knee and vanish my pain. An added benefit has been that my posture greatly improved. My husband now says I have the most sexiest back and...!

  Anyone that knows me, knows that I am not the biggest fitness person but as my age progressed I felt I needed some more activity in my life. Joanne is the only person that has actually gotten me to LIKE working out. Joanne takes her time to make sure you are doing every exercise CORRECTLY (so that it doesn't cause pain) and she switches up her classes so that you're never doing the same boring things. This way you never know what to expect and your body gets worked in different areas! It's only been 3 months that I have been going here but already my body is transforming. Anyone who thinks Pilates does "nothing" is SO WRONG. My core is so much stronger and my muscle tone all over has improved. And now we even have a Beach Body class that REALLY gets you working! I am beyond happy with my results and I recommend Joanne's Body & Bread to everyone! Joanne is the BEST!
