  We have been doing our taxes with JMU Tax and Financial for the last two years. It has been a pleasure to work with Daniel Hatem, whose knowledge and professionalism have led us to significant tax savings. Mr. Hatem also reviewed some of our previous tax returns and corrected mistakes. Doing taxes is usually an unpleasant task but with Mr. Hatem we actually had a good time and even shared a few good laughs.

  We made an appointment for 10 am and no one opened the office until 1030am. The employee that showed up at 1030 stated that the office opens at 10am but the person who does tax files doesn’t arrive until 12pm. We were waiting for over 2hrs. There’s no sense of responsibilities and great customer service at this company. They do not value time whatsoever.

  They do the taxes for us since more than 13 years and it's been wonderful experience no issues at all.

  I was so stressed and nervous about filing my state tax return as I have recently moved to the DC area from a different state. I tried to do it on my own, but it was challenging and I called around to different places on tax day (I was desperate) and people were so rude and unhelpful--they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg just to just file my state tax return. Then I called JMU Tax and Olivia O. responded to my call. She was very kind and courteous. She helped me with my state tax return and was so patient, knowledgeable, helpful and wonderful! She walked me through everything step-by-step and looked up many things on my behalf. I am so grateful to her and HIGHLY recommend her to everyone! She is amazing!
