A decade ago I had the joy of working with lots of Jamaicans and getting hooked on jerk seasoning. I have truly missed the heat balanced so beautifully with the rest of the spices. The Jerk Shack has one of the best spice blends I've had in awhile. The staff is beyond amazing in their hospitality and the portions are legit. I really am going to struggle not eating here at least once a week

Yeah, this place is amazing! Portion size is crazy big, enough for two as they say on their menu. Came here with a friend on his recommendation and I'll say that I'm an instant fan and will definitely make this one of my regular spots. Started with the Real Cuban Black Beans. I could come here for that! The right amount of spice, flavor and price for the portion. My friend had the boneless grilled jerk chicken and let me try some (eventually gave me half ;)) and the chicken was so perfectly cooked that it melted in my mouth. 5 star all around for service, food and price.

We ordered 3 plates (4 ppl) including half fried chicken, pork belly and soft shell crab sandwich. I especially like their spice and the juicy fried chicken. It’s one of the best Caribbean food I have ever had in Seattle. Highly recommended.

Great space! Dog friendly and Trey's Caribbean inspired menu hits perfect flavor profiles for heat and spice. Huge portions to boot. The staff is new and getting their groove so be patient. Bar service is a bit on the slow side, but I think that will improve. My favorite fried chicken and the rice and beans, yum yum!

Amazing experience. The decor caught my eye and my man loves Caribbean food so I knew we had to check it out. We went during happy hour, which had some good deals on drinks and bowls. Even without happy hour, their main menu had great deals, all their entrees are big enough for two people. We ordered a half jerk chicken which came with fried plantains, rice, and coleslaw. We got sweet potato cornbread on the side. The chicken, coleslaw, and drinks were all amazing. The cornbread flavor was really good, but it was barely warm — should have been served hot. The rice and and the fried plantains also weren’t very warm, and didn’t have much flavor. Overall, it was a good meal and well worth the price. We’ll definitely be back!
