She is passionate about hair, and takes pride in her work. *Do not go if you are in a hurry.* Good things take time, and the services here are phenomenal, especially if you allow the process to not be rushed. Jenny will go above & beyond to learn about your hair, what you’ve done to it, what you’d like to have done to it, and aims to create a look clients will love. Jenny is courteous and friendly. Upon entering, she will greet you with a smile, and will offer to make you a beverage, such as a cappuccino or espresso, during your hair service. Services & price ranges are available on the website. As a first time client, I visited Yelp and learned from their that Jenny currently offers 10% off for first time clients. On my first visit, hair cut & blow dry by Jenny cost me around $90 before tip. *My hair is thick and coarse. At the time I went for my first visit, my hair was long and down to the middle of my back.* I cut my hair to below my shoulder blades. Jenny gave amazing texturized layers. A week after my first visit, I returned for hair color treatment, balayage. I have found my go-to hair place. Be open minded and visit Jenny Andre. ::I had an appointment at 9:30 am on Saturday, is now 9:40 and the place is still closed. So basically I woke up earlye and drove 20 mins to sit in a parking lot.. Very unprofessional!

::Got a manicure from groupon, owne charges you an extra $5 for tax and if you have gel on your nails already. All they do is give you a headache telling you that their products aren't like what "Chinese people" use. Owner is very rude and manicure peeled off the same night. She blamed the technician and I blame her and her products. Stay away, not worth it.

::Took my mother in for color, cut and styling. We arrived early for 11 a.m. appointment, but Jenny wasn't ready yet. No problem on my end. We were not offered coffee, water or any type of beverage as other clients stated they were offered or given. Jenny, nice but pompous, it seemed didn't want to service my 86 y/o and kept mentioning that her girls couldn't service my mother, that I should have home services to get my mother's hair done, and she needs to add to Groupon or wherever about not servicing older clients, and that she had a 12:30 appointment so she needed to hurry up and wrap up with my mother...really?! Color is nice on mother, but Jenny ran through hair cut and simply trimmed....though there were many longer hairs left behind during cutting/trimming process. It's age discrimination in my eyes....so if you are young and need a salon, by all means go, but if you are a senior citizen boycott the place... Honestly not impressed by any means....maybe Jenny should have opened salon in West Village for her selective clientele....not on Staten Island with growing geriatric population. Oh by the way...my mother does not and didn't need special accomodations as owner perceived/ perceives.

::Having very curly hair that's so tough to handle, there are only few people that are able to do my hair properly and correctly. With amazing hairstyling skills and customer service, Jenny never fails to amaze me! Being the only person I trust completely with the color of my hair, never have I left disappointed and upset about a hair color/style because she knows exactly what to do and uses very good products which benefit the health of my hair. She is a fantastic hair stylist that always leaves me satisfied with my haircut and hair color. You will not regret it!
