  Look at other reviews...thought I'd give them a try. They seemed irritated that I came in even though I called. Showed them a picture of what I wanted for my daughters hair. The older woman started to braid her hair and th lines were not straight or neat. After 3 braids I decided to leave. I apologized and offered to pay for the work done so far but they said it's ok. Not my cup of tea.

  My hair is looking great, BUT... let’s just say I might not go back. This lady thinks I’m here for a free hair do or something. She keeps going to the back being on her phone, walking around. Like wth, I have stuff to do too. She even charge me a different price from what she told me over the phone + I went there with my own hair. She just kept my left overs too smh! If you got the time go get your hair done, results is 👍🏽 not for me though.

  I just dropped by here to buy accessories and they had them for good prices. They had dupe denman brushes for $3.99, long lasting eyebrow pencils for $1, straight edge razor holders with replaceable blades for $3.99 and other stuff as well. When ever I'm in the area and I really need something I will come here. Polite and professional staff.

  I liked that the ladies here were polite and professional. My stylist stopped to ask me if she was braiding my hair the way I wanted it instead of doing what she wanted to do to make a quick buck like some other places. Jay's is a beauty supply store and braiding salon. The price is great and reasonable too! I like my hair. This is my go to braiding spot.

  This absolutely the best place to braid your hair in the Bronx. Jay, her sister Sally and team are very attentive and friendly. They definitely know how to braid hair too. As long as you tell them what you need they do just that. Will absolutely keep going back.
