  DO NOT make the mistake of hiring this thug. If you are innocent and can prove it, expect him to do the typical scumbag lawyer thing - will not take your calls, does not want to hear your side of the story, does not want to see evidence and if by chance you schedule an actual in office appointment don’t expect him to be there when you are. However, he will happily take your money and then coerce you into some kind of shady plea deal or submittal. And bear in mind, once you accept these so called deals, you might as well sign your soul over to the devil since there is virtually no recourse and certainly no claim of malicious prosecution. Now if you are guilty, then by all means hire James D. Leavitt because guilt is his middle name. And speaking of names, the Leavitt family is huge in the state of Nevada largely due to former Supreme Court Justice Myron Leavitt who held just about every important political position you can think of. And in fact there are three James Leavitt’s who practice law in Nevada but only two are related to Myron and James Dean IS NOT one of them. He will not say he is a “Leavitt” but neither will he correct you if you’re unaware that there is no relation to the man who helped build Nevada’s legal system. With all of that said, and you still wish to hire this man, consider yourself warned.
