  Great pharmacy. It's been the for over 70 years. Used to be a mom and pop pharmacy and then sold to Duane Reade which was bought by Walgreens... I think is it when it was a private pharmacy. The good old days. The employees were like family to the neighborhood. Everyone was on a first named basis and if you needed help with anything... go see the guys at "la farmacia" lol. Most of the original crew is gone now that Walgreens took over. Their business model doesn't provide for small mom and pop philosophies, so most have been transferred into other Walgreen stores or retired to avoid the insult. Only 3 guys I think remain. Thank God for them. Too bad James sold. We lost a good neighborhood gem to big corporate business.
