A hip spot for coffee and studying or catching up with friends. Got the red velvet hot chocolate, which was good but VERY sweet. Wouldn't order it again. The baklava was really tasty but also expensive. Lots of options at this place and the wifi is fast, so would come back! Edit: have also tried the iced coconut chai, which tasted more like sugary coconut milk than anything else. Still, I really like the setting and would keep coming to work/study.

I love the idea of a coffee shop that turns into a wine bar at night. It's the perfect date idea! I'm always excited to try new coffee shops anywhere I go, and Boston is no exception. Upon Yelping a few coffeeshops in the city, Jaho was one of the top-rated. What a spacious, cozy coffee shop and wine bar! Seating is generous, with armchairs, high and low-top tables, and the bar available for use. I love the bar, as their roaster sits right behind it and there's a plethora of grinders and brewing instruments here. I ordered their popular maple soy latte. It's definitely on the sweeter side, but it isn't overbearingly sugary. I liked how the delicate notes of the maple syrup come through the espresso and soy milk. It's an excellent combination of a traditional latte paired with maple undertones. If you're not a coffee drinker, Jaho also serves tea, bubble tea, and smoothies. There's also food in the form of sandwiches and pastries. This is a great place to come and study. There are lots of outlets for you to charge up.

This was one of the cafes that I find the atmosphere to be perfect. The servers/cashiers are extremely friendly. It can get a tiny bit loud at times. I recommend this place greatly. If you do pass by, give it a chance.

I was very excited to try Jaho after having passed it many times. I loved the idea of a wine bar mixed with a coffee shop and had high expectations. When I walked in on a Thursday morning, it was relatively quiet, understandably. There was no line so I had to generate my coffee order quickly, so I went with a flat white and a bagel with egg salad. The man behind the counter was very cold and not helpful when I asked what was in the egg salad. Rather than going to find out, he just stood there and waited for me to either order it or get something else. Eventually, I paid and sat down to wait. When my food and coffee was brought out, it looked good enough. The coffee and egg salad sandwich were good, but nothing special. Other coffee shops in Boston definitely beat it out. The thing that worried me the most was when I asked for water. When I got it, there was hair and other particles in it. Definitely didn't drink it! I'd like to believe the water was a fluke, but it still weirded me out. I'd be willing to try Jaho again but I was very disappointed with my experience there.

Excellent coffee shop that also has nice selection of beers on tap and extensive list of wines. Come here to spend time on comfortable couches and armchairs. There's also a slow-brew coffee area that looks like an alchemist's lab (need to wait for that one for 10-15 min.), but it's only good if toy are not in rush and just want to chill while sipping on your beverage. Plenty of space to work on your laptop (good WiFi signal) or read a book. They've also got comfy summer deck for slow sipping of wine-coffee-beer and to have a healthy snack. It's like a trendy bar that's also a comfy coffee shop.
