  Small & cool place. Great selection of beers especially German. Some good craft beers. Bartenders / service great. Happy Hour 7 days a week - $2 off drafts & half off apps. Excellent deal. In my group people liked the beef tips appetizer & German sausage but the potato pancakes not so much. Doughy - not much flavor at all. Music was too loud & not what you'd expect in a German themed pub. i.e. rap / hip hop. Would be great if the new owners focused on making it a truly authentic German bar theme with German music. Many good restaurants in Detroit so be unique. Most of the other people around us went there strictly because it's advertised as an authentic German pub. Look forward to going back and trying other German dishes.

  My Girlfriend and I love this place, when it’s not too crowded! But if you like a big crowd it’s still great! Each bartender we’ve had was very efficient and pleasant, not snarky or too cool. They have a sausage and cheese plate!!! Nuff Said!! Go there!

  Love this bar!!!! Service is great (especially from Hannah at the bar) food is awesome- get the Reuben Sammie- sooooooo good! Also the potato pancakes and Maurice salad 👍 You won't regret it!

  Great little bar. The have a decent size draft beer selection. The staff is all very nice. This is within walking distance of many other things downtown. Worth the stop.

  Jacoby’s has a very cool yet classic ambiance. The beer selection is amazing and so are their happy hour specials. The food was great. I had potato pancakes and sauerkraut and both were prefect. My friend had a sausage sandwich and it looked and tasted amazing.. I new local favorite for sure
