::Absolutely disgusted Would rate ZERO stars if I could. Was told my hair looked disgusting and to buy her products adamantly to fix my hair. I am a regular at Shampoo Ave B, one of the BEST Hair salons PERIOD. I decided to come to this locale because my sister was going through a rough patch and we were spending the day together, enthralled in a spa day. We chose this locale bc of the ratings and she didn't want to spend triple digits on a beautician. The owner literally said, " you hair looks disgusting it shouldn't be 2 colors". We are in 2017, ombré pink IS a thing. On top of it all she overcharged me stating that I was a "New customer" and had to pay a higher price for a wash and set. My hair is just below my shoulder and it's wavy. Why did I have to pay $50 ???? She went on to explain that not only was I a new customer but that she used a treatment on my hair that was expensive. I NEVER REQUESTED THE "TREATMENT" of oils. She asked me about 7 times to give her a 5 star review and even asked me to take a picture with her and her client. If I rated her 5 stars I could get a discount. DO NOT COME HERE, MY AUNT HAS ACTUAL CURLY HAIR AND THEY DID A TERRIBLE JOB. HER HAIR WAS ALL FRIZZ. !!!BE AWARE!!!!!!

::Ivy came and met me personally at the salon even though she wasn't supposed to be in that day. But she's a business woman, nice polite, but just trying to sell her service. Talking about her yelp reviews and to go and leave one when I left from there. For the outcome, the price was way too high and to me, not worth it. Ivy told me she had no other wash, roller and set deal for me that was less than $65. What she had intended for me was I believe $140, no way. I decided to take a chance and take her word and did the $65 deal. She wanted to re-introduce my hair to chemicals like soft relaxers, which is something I have stopped doing for about 2 years now, and am strongly against doing. She did NOT wash my hair, didn't do the rollers, or blow dry it. Not that I expected her to, I just expected my hair to come out better because it has while I paid $35. The beautician who actually dealt with my hair was polite and lovely. But unfortunately I won't be returning there.

::I used to visit this Beauty Salon before Ivy took over the business and became one of her first clients. This is the type of salon that makes you feel at home. Their clientele is always their priority. They not only do your hair they have many other high quality spa services available. It is a little bit pricey for the area but is worth the money. I highly recommend this salon to anyone as it is as far one of the best salons in the Morris Park Area.
