  GREAT SCHOOL, GREAT INSTRUCTORS , THEY TEACH ALL TYPES OF MARTIAL ARTS,, BOTH MY KIDS LOVE IT ,, BAD KIDS LOOK OUT .....ALL KIDDING ASIDE//// MASTER PETE AND HIS TEAM ARE PERSISTANT IN MAKING SURE THAT THE KIDS ARE WELL ROUNDED IN ALL THE DIFFERENT MARTIAL ARTS OUT THERE . THAT IS WHAT MAKES THEM THE BEST PLACE ON THE ENTIRE STATEN ISLND. THE INSTRUCTORS ARE VERY CARING AND VERY POSITIVE REINVORSEING TO ALL THE VALUES OF MARTIAL ARTS WE LOVE THIS PLACE AND WOULD NEVER GO ANY WHERE ELSE . MY KIDS BEEN THERE FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS NOW, THEY DO THE KICK BOXING DOWNSTAIRSS WITH THE GREAT LEGEND DON HE IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST NOTE (RIGHT NOW HE IS OUT GETTING BETTER FROM BEING SICK ) GET WELL FAST MY KIDS CANT WAIT TILL HE GETS .BACK . MASTER JOE AND MASTER ARTHUR ARE ALSO PHENOMINAL AS ARE MAM CYNTHIS AND SIR MAURIZIO JUST TO FINISH ,,THIS PLACE IS GREAT EVEN THE YOUNG GIRL AT THE DESK NAMED CHRISTINE IS THE MOST FRIENDLIEST AND HELPFUL OF EVERYBODY THERE JUST WANTED TO LET EVRYBODY KNOW

  I love the Kickboxing and Zumba classes at I.M.A. I would recommend this school (and I do) to all my friends. It's helping me lose weight and it's a very friendly environment.

  My 9 year old son just started a few weeks ago and he absolutely loves it! The instructors are all great and they really work well with the kids. I strongly recommend Island Martial Arts!

  I send my kids here and they absolutely love it. Master Pete is excellent with the kids. I highly recommend checking this karate school out because its such a family friendly place, locally owned is best!

  My almost 5 year old son has been going to Island Martial Arts since just after his third birthday. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. They do an amazing job of working with the younger kids. I really like Master Pete's business model. The kids can attend as many classes as they like and there are no extra hidden fees. Some of my favorite things about Island Martial Arts are all of the extras that I never would have thought about, like my son learning to speak Korean. They also have a Fire Safety and Stranger Danger weeks for the kids to learn how to handle all situations. We look forward to many years of continued classes.
