  My father went here as a child and says it changed his life. He was poor as a kid and came here on a scholarship. Had he not? I wouldn’t be writing this. No one had ever bullied him, and should we end up back in New Orleans, he says he would work to the death to make sure my sister and I can go here. It changed his life.

  The campus is huge it looks like a collage! My friend went to Newman for a year and that previous year she went to Mcgehee school for girls. She left Newman because she was getting bullied and want to be in that environment anymore. So she came back to McGehee, and is now much happier!

  there are teachers here. that is good because it is a school. there are also students who do stuff. that is good because it is a school. so if you do not like students and teachers then you should not come here. overall it is a school. 🤷🐱‍👤🤳🤞🖼💦🌭

  I know first hand what newman is like from being a student myself and from my graduate sisters advice. Newman is probably one of the best schools for extracurricular activities since they always get the best of the best. The science class is awesome. Girls tend to step away from STEM subjects but I know many young ladies who love science. The dining experience is good. The food tastes good and there is a salad bar if you are vegetarian. There s a dessert day and there is soda (only upper school and faculty may have the soda). The athletic training is harsh. Starting in fourth grade PE gets way harder especially since you are separated by gender in third grade. Not all of the kids are snobby although there are some snobs.
