Excellent beers on tap, or bottle. Combine that with the wonderful food from the street taco truck out front and you got yourself an exceptional evening. Saturday night they play some sick blues on the box. What more do you want, anyway?

This is a great microbrewery and worth the finding the semi-confusing location - located in an office park just south of the storage units (east side of Plumer Rd). Get a flight and gnosh on some roasted peanuts, while playing a boardgame from the house collection.... The beers are boozy, but delicious!! The selection on tap while we visited was from 6.25-15% abv. I wasn't as big a fan of the darker brews, but the lighter ales were fantastic. The Nirvana Belgian strong ale is exactly that - heaven; it's got a hint of that typical sour build from being aged in Calvados Apple Brandy barrels... would definitely go back for more!!!

Stopped in after trying a bottle of El Tiradito at a Tucson store. It was a very impressive Belgian style golden ale, and it piqued our interest. This is a well kept secret that won’t be for long. Who knew they were so creative and so diverse? Quality ingredients and an obvious love of the craft comes through in every sip. I love how their “easy drinking” beer rings in at 6%! Big beers across the board, but it’s the finespun nature of their recipes that makes them shine. Iron John’s has a really bright future. A super friendly reception and great service was the cherry on top. If I lived in Tucson I’d be here a few times a week!

This is our favorite brewery in Tucson. We like to go in the evening and get a flight of everything they have on tap (typically 6-8 different beers), which is perfect for two people. It's a small tasting room, great for drinking in groups sized 1-5. The bartender is always very knowledgeable about the brews on tap and the bottled IJBC beers available for purchase, and about brewing in general.
