::Sometimes the experience of being in a place is more important than the food itself. The people working here clearly love their customers and create such a warm environment. Even though they barely have vegan options for me, the woman behind the counter was so compassionate and really tried finding some food for me. I'm having a plain Portuguese roll with some peach nectar and sitting by the window, taking in the ambiance. I can't be upset about a lack of vegan options since this food is specific to the countries it's inspired by. Lovely place! Looking forward to coming back to try their coffee.

::Our constant desire in finding local Mom & Pop eateries has brought us to this slightly tucked away bakery in Danbury, CT. We felt instantly welcomed by their friendly staff & truly enjoyed our super crispy beacon & egg sandwich as well as this little creamy custard pastry. Happy that we came and we will be returning shortly!
