  Love coming here for local and big name comedy acts..Just seen Arie Spears and Bill Bellamy recently. Admission is reasonable but food and drinks a bit pricey...Be prepared to have an 18% gratuity to be added to your bill at the end of the show.. Seating is plentiful with balcony views to boot... Overall if you love stand up comedy food and drinks ...You'll love the experience here.

  First time attending the Improv and it will surely be my last. The show itself was great but the service and food was terrible. "Fast service" should not be used to describe the service here unless it's opposite day. Took about an hour and a half for us to get our drinks AFTER being seated and the show had already started; one person in our party got their food long before we did but then waited 25 minutes to be able to eat because utensils aren't brought out with your meal and servers here aren't diligent enough to ensure you have what you need. The rest of our party's food wasn't brought out until 10 minutes before the end of the show and to add insult to injury, all the food was cold, inedible and a complete waste of money. Never again.

  We went to a showcase they had on a Sunday night. It was a good time and something to do. The comedians were a little mediocre (but that’s what makes some shows great). We just had trouble understanding/hearing them sometimes. One of my girlfriends got the boneless wings and ended up with an upset stomach later on. Drinks weren’t cheap but not overly expensive. Since the tickets were cheap, they definitely make their money from drink and food prices. Overall, good time. Would consider going back.

  Great performance and decent venue marred by bad food. Came here for a saturday evening comedy show. We paid for parking since there were no free spaces nearby. The place was centrally located in Ybor and it was easy to enter. We arrived a little late so many of the seats were taken. Our hosts and escorts were good and friendly. We sat at a tiny table which was occupied by two other adults we didn't know. It was cramped. I basically sat with my arms in my lap because when I moved i bumped into the person behind me at the next table. Sound system was great, lighting was great and the crowd was amicable. The food was the major issue. My drink tasted flat and my guest received her meal without the side sauce. After requesting the side sauce again, they brought THE WRONG SAUCE. To make matters worse, the food tasted horrible (how do you mess up chicken wings?), and by the end of the night my guest vomited. Seems like a decent place but I looked over some other reviews and noticed other folks complained about the food. I'm not expecting a Michelin meal, but something decent that doesn't make you sick should be expected from an establishment like this. Nothing funny about getting sick.

  The comedy shows are great and I highly recommend signing up for their emails and texts because we are always getting discounted tickets. There isn’t a bad seat in the place. Their drinks aren’t good though. The mixed drinks are awful. They have a few decent bottled beers. I ordered wine last time, but I never got it. The food is okay, but we only get an appetizer to share - I wouldn’t get dinner there.
