  From New York here visiting.. love this place!! Great vibe!! Fast service!! Awesome hookah!! Diverse music.. you can even request songs you like! If you’re in Pittsburgh definitely recommend this place!! Two thumbs up!!

  The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is always fun and relaxed. Great place to come and chill and unwind with people looking to do the same. Definitely worth return visits

  Went on a Saturday night. Parking was absolutely horrible. Drove around for literally 15min trying to find a spot. Thats not on them... its Saturday night on a college campus. So to be expected. When I came in, it has a more Club vibe. The Music was up to whoever wanted to pick next. So it was a free for all. There ended up being a very loud and obnoxious argument between two different groups. The one group kept changing the music before the song was over. And the other group would retaliate.... I think it should have been managed better. As for the Hookah itself: the pull wasnt very good. We mentioned it, and the guy just blew on it and it wasnt any better. The flavor was fine though. The first hour I was there. The coals werent changed often.. but as it got busier, they did more rounds and it got changed more. I mean, the whole feel, like i said, was very Club like. Which some people like. I had been planing on going to Sphinx down the road, but they were closed. Sphinx tends to be a more chill, relax kind of vibe, which is what I prefer in Hookah. Guess that last bit is just a personal preference though. All that being said, this used to be a different hookah place. Idk how long ago they changed it. Back when my friend went to Pitt (a few years ago), we came a few times. And did NOT feel welcomed at all. It seemed more like the owners treated it as a Private hookah place that they *Ever soooo graciously* let us visit. We had bad service and felt harshly judged. All that has changed. Idk if its new owners or just a revamped style.... but its a LOT better than it was before.

  Wasn't a bad experience, but it took 20 minutes for them to bring my hookah, and it usually took a little longer to replace the coal. There was also a lot of randomness: different people would "play" dj, there was a dog... Shisha was good though.

  I would say Illusion is the best hookah bar in Pittsburgh. The service is extremely good and the hookah is perfect. Most hookah bars around here can't be compared to this places.
