  There are some definite pluses and minuses here. Great location walking distance from downtown Bethesda and RIGHT on top of a red line station. Comfortable beds. Decent bar and a Starbucks on the first floor. On the other hand, we had some issues with getting the rooms cleaned and there was a major disturbance in the lobby one night at 2AM.

  Booked the hotel due to location and supposed 4 star hotel, but turned out to be a nightmare. The booking was done via a third party where three rooms for two nights were booked. Party was separated and one party was placed on a different floor which is whatever, the guest services said that’s how the booking was done which wasn’t true. After going to the room, there was a terrible odor and being one of the guest was a kid with allergies, called the front desk for them to only come and spray with air freshener which made it worse. Asked to be transferred to a different room but was as told only the president suite was available at $1500. After looking at their website multiple rooms showed available, asked to speak to a manager, Gladys, showed her the rooms available, which she ended up doing something that blocked the booking online. Called customer service they mentioned there are multiple rooms available for the selected dates. Not friendly or helpful, worst service from a hotel ever received. GUESTS BE Cautious they LIE! Finally was able to get a different room after being on the phone with Guest Services where they told Gladys that she’s incorrect and there were several rooms. Not sure what her issue was or why she was so unaccommodating but she shouldn’t work in the hospitality business if she’s can’t accommodate simple requests and has to lie about it, especially when it comes to health and safety. The phone guest representative was awesome, she needs to give them pointers.

  The parking garage is hit or miss, but once I brought it to the Hyatt's attention they quickly announced how it is not affiliated with the hotel. If you choose self parking you may have to carry your baggage up several flights of stairs since their elevators are out of order. The rooms are slightly outdated. No cover on the TV remote, or small sanitizing wipes to prevent spread of disease. You have to mannually pull on a beaded chain to lower and lift the blinds. The bedding, bathroom floor and carpet was dingy and had debree, stains and holes on them. I had to request maintenence my first night in my room for a clogged sink. Although there were a few disconnects with communication upon arrival, staff was very professional and pleasant. There are a couple of nice accommodations and restaurants in the area.

  Stayed here for a family trip. Room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the mid century modern architecture. Great location and walking distance to metro and many restaurants.

  Staff was super nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean, nice, and fairly updated. Water pressure for the shower was fantastic even on the 8th floor. Meeting and conference rooms on-site left a little to be desired since we had to bring our own projectors, but that’s isolated to business.
