  Went to meet up with a friend. Rooms were nice and modern. Lobby was nice and had a bar. Location is very central, able to get to all of downtown San Jose from here

  Nice staff, clean and accommodating. As far as a place to stay it’s pretty cut and dry, no frills but it gets the job done. Have no complaints and that’s what we expected. Well I do think that parking is steep ($26 a day with in/out) especially considering that one will drop hundreds of dollars for a room and then have to shell out more dough just to park your car is ridiculous.

  If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... Hotel is very nice, even better than expected. Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. Room is well-equipped and comfortable. Good location as well, especially if you're visiting the San Jose convention center. Quality hotel, would gladly stay in again.

  Do NOT stay here! The hotel is currently under unadvertised renovations on two floors. They kindly let you know this at check-in, not on their website with a paper that says the hours are from 10 am to 6pm. Someone here has trouble telling time. This is Sat morning of my sixth and final night and the construction has gone on early (7:30 am) and late (7pm). Management smiles and nods and sometimes acts surprised that there are workers there - but that's more worrisome than the noise....you have no idea who is in your hotel disturbing your customers? Yes, they offered to move me, but as a business traveler it's a pain to repack and unpack and if I can't trust what they say about the room I am in, how can I trust another? If you can easily imagine the sound of screws hitting the floor above as rain and the shuffling and banging as a thunderstorm, this might be your place. If you want a quiet place to stay with a staff that knows what's going on in their own hotel and doesn't hide behind misinformation at check in, I recommend somewhere else, strongly.

  The staff of the Hyatt Place were phenomenal! There was an issue with our window and curtains, we called and they came up immediately and fixed up. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious. The free breakfast was delicious with lots of hot food options and fresh food options. The location is walkable to so many venues. Wonderful.
