  I live across the street from this building. Everyday the fire alarm goes off at least 5 times. This has been going on since Hurricane Irma hit in September. That makes 7 MONTHS! It's so loud that I can hear it inside my condo with the hurricane doors closed. I have no idea how anyone could both manage a multi-million dollar building so poorly, much less work inside of it. Staying at the Hyatt here/living in this building would be a nightmare for anyone. If this review is still here it means the fire alarm is still going. I will remove this review once resolved. Edit: It's 8:40pm on May 9th and I can hear the alarm going off.

  An amazing new hotel with great friendly staff. The food at the restaurant is outstanding. You have to try the coconut mojito at the bar. Rooms are specious with great view of the water. It is paradise in the middle of Miami, walking distance to Brickell City Centre.

  Excellent location!! Brand new. Modern decor. Comfortable bed and luxurious sheets. Clean and spacious room and bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. Highly recommend.

  This is a brand new hotel opened on 1st week April. Hyatt Centric brand is must more modern and contemporary than the normal Hyatt hotels. Can't find anything to complain about.

  Ridiculous. Opened a week and still working out the bugs. We booked this placed because of the photos - the pool, the lobby, etc. These were just artist’s drawings. The pool is no where near being completed. The depicted art is not as shown. We were offered the pool at the Conrad. If I wanted the pool at the Conrad, I would have booked the Conrad. The service: The front door staff is a joke. Not a single car door was opened for us in the multiple times we were dropped off by Uber. The staff stands around like extras in an episode of The Walking Dead. They are as friendly and approachable as kitchen sponges. We left our room at 10am on Saturday and came back at 7pm. Housekeeping did not come to clean the room. There couldn’t have been more than a couple dozen guests! How do you miss a room? Especially one that was reserved by a Global member!? The decor is lovely and everything is focused on texture. From the tile in your bathroom to the paper cups - everything is textured. This should prove interesting to keep clean months from now. The lighting. Jesus on a Biscuit. I have been in operating rooms that haven’t been lit this brightly. The hallways have a cold, sterile feel illuminated by these blaring rods of light. I swear that when you die and you enter the tunnel to the great beyond, you won’t experience anything as blinding as this garish, haunting lighting. The lighting in the room fares no better. There is nothing romantic about this place, and if you DID feel like having a little sexy time, be prepared to get freaky in the dark, or in lighting so bright that you will see every imperfection in your partner’s skin. I suppose if you’re looking to extract blackheads from your partner’s back and you need bright lights, this place is for you. Overall, the lighting will make you feel like you are being interrogated by police for the disappearance of JonBenet. The good news: plenty of outlets. Nice shower. Front desk staff that doesn’t throw food at you as you pass.
