  We just used Hufnagel Landscape Design & Construction to remove and replace an old fence surrounding our Hoboken brownstone backyard. They also installed an automatic irrigation system, repaired the stairs on our old deck and removed some giant old stumps. Everyone at Hufnagel was a pro and was constantly checking to make sure the job went smoothly and quickly. Landscape work in the small spaces of Hoboken is always complicated and this one had its challenges, and Hufnagel was comfortable working with us to get the job done right. The finished product looks and works great, and my neighbors love it too! They know how to work in this town and we highly recommend them!

  At no time has Hufnagel Landscaping done more for me than the absolute best work. They are reliable, creative craftspeople who value the quality of the job they do and the results reflect their dedication.

  Very bad experience. They cancelled my $10K contract. They were 3 months late and were annoyed that a small customer like me pressured them for installation dates. Worked with them for 18 months to negotiate the design and planting of my garden. Then got dumped. Have complained to the Better Business Bureau. Recommend that you choose another contractor if your project is less than $50k. You will get postponed, then dumped.. Of course, if you don't mind waiting without complaint until they find time for you, then you might be ok. But there are other landscape contractors out there.
