I went there yesterday to do my taxes. Miss Gloria was helping me from the beginning to end. Iā€™m sorry that I give this place only 2 stars I would give it 0 if that wasnā€™t for Miss Gloria. She seemed a little unsure or maybe inexperienced and she kept asking her coworkers about their opinions. Nothing wrong with that. At the end of the process it came out I owe money to IRS. This is very frustrating as I was hoping to get a return but she explained me everything and I havenā€™t argue with her. It is what it is, I owe because I havenā€™t pay one of the taxed because my employer is located in a different state and they havenā€™t process my paystubs properly. Miss Gloria seemed surprised herself so she went to the back to speak with some more experienced and double check. Unfortunately there are no walls there and the person she spoke with was very loud so I could hear everything the lady was saying. What she said was very unprofessional and rude. The lady said itā€™s all my fault, that I did everything wrong, because I havenā€™t done my W4 properly she also said ā€œoh so now she moved here... they move here and they think they can do whatever they wantā€. In my opinion a loud statement like this and putting a blame on your customer is a bad example of customer service. I would give this place 5 starts because of Miss Gloria as she was very nice and informative but the other lady seems to be in charge and she completely does not know what customer service is, also blamed me for something I havenā€™t done out loud while Iā€™m there. Very unprofessional. I will go somewhere else next time.

Doing my taxes with H&R Block has been a nightmare. First of all, before starting to do the taxes with a woman who worked there, she told me it would be $80. ThatĀ“s why I started the process with her. She seemed not to have much idea of how to do it and another woman took my case. At first, she seemed to control the situation explaining me everything very well (or at least thatĀ“s what I thought). She did everything wrong, starting from filling my taxes with a non-resident form and not multiplying line 11 of the form per 0.80. And the final price of doing the taxes with H&R Block was $200 instead of $80 as the first woman had said. I complained and she got a "discount", so I ended up paying $150... I started to have doubts about her being that professional she seemed to be and, by reading several articles in the IRS website, I realized that I'm a resident for tax purposes because I've been in the US for more than 183 days during 2013. I went back to the office after making an appointment with her and she didn't show up. Somebody else tried to help me but she told me she would need to charge me to do any correction in my taxes. Really!? Not only this company did it wrong, but they wanted me to pay again to fix something that was not my fault!? Unbelievable. I finally got an IRS letter asking me to send several documents because they have doubts about my 2013 tax filling. So I had to hire a professional CPA who explained me all the things the woman did wrong. Now I have to pay him to help me address the IRS notice correctly. I will never do my taxes with H&R Block and I'll make sure that nobody else in my circle does it.
