  This was my first time filing my taxes at HR Block and I only did it because of additional forms I had to file and I will never go back to HR Block, ever again. The specialist, Tamara Johnson, was nice and all, hence I gave one star, but she was not accurate and careful in preparing the tax return. We filed the documents and never heard from IRS for 3 months. Of course I called IRS multiple times during that time, regardless, she made many mistakes in filing my return including incorrect address (The IRS tried to contact me, but of course their letter to the wrong address), incorrect residency. But she is also impossible to reach, even by the HR Block staff. I went to the HR office again and they tried to help me file the return again, but they needed her to sign my return because she is a CCA, but nobody was to able to reach her. Finally, I managed to setup a 3rd appointment with another HR Block specialist, who found all those problems in the return and got it filed. Of course I was late for filing, way past April 15 deadline.

  Jennifer D. Davis, a senior tax advisor at this location is the best! First time filing taxes jointly (got married) and had lots of tax related questions we weren't sure about - so we went to this H&R Block. She quickly greeted us, offered us refreshments then sat us down at her desk. I told Jennifer that we already did our taxes with TurboTax and we just wanted to make sure we got everything. She explained our TurboTax return dollar for dollar (comparing it with H&R Block) and even did on the spot research to validate her answers to our questions. After spending 20 minutes with Jennifer we were not only comfortable with our return, but also more knowledgeable about taxes in general. The best part was that she spent the time to explain everything out of goodwill, expecting nothing in return. We will for sure return to Jennifer for her tax services and advice when things become more complicated. Great customer service, thanks Jennifer! (I recommend making an appointment with Jennifer D. Davis)
