::I was there for the Redding Road Race, so I can't comment much on the size of the park, it's amenities, or the quality of the sites. However, parking appeared adequate and ready. Lots of space to tent out. A small pavilion area as well. Hoping I might be able to get my troop to stay overnight

::It's not very far from the Simpaug Turnpike. If you're driving toward Norwalk along Route 7, there's a road called "Topstone" that connects with the (rather small) West Redding business district. You can board the train there.

::Great, wilderness survival weekend camporee. CYC kept it safe and fun. Very cold but boys and girls kept warm completed the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge.
