  Very pleased with my experience with Bert Brown & Associates. After being on the lookout for the right type of house in the lower garden district for about a year, Bert found me exactly what I was looking for within a week. Their staff is always responsive and has promptly fixed any issues I've had (which have been few and normal for an old house in a historic neighborhood).

  I have rented from Schmalz Realty for over seven years and my experience was great. Maintenance was done as requested, and upgrades were also available in a timely manner. If something broke, I brought it to there attention and someone came out fix/corrected the problem. I also paid my rent on time, which is why I never had a problem with the landlord. Mr. Schmalz lives in the same neighborhood that his office is located and is visible to all renters and clients. I knew a number of other tenants that also held Schmalz realty in good regard. Neil

  Our apartment we rented literally fell apart within a year. Water was leaking from the walls and the floors and we were attacked by a legion of different insects. This was reported many times along with our broken dryer. It's now been almost a year. We had to take matters into our hands and expenses. They didn't help us out at all. I wouldn't even recommend this real estate agency to my worst enemy.
