We live the zoo. The only thing I hate is that everything is so expensive. They had these really curlte bubble blowers that all the kids wanted but they wanted $27.00 for them and $14 for the led gun blowers. I would like to see more novelty items for the zoo in the gift shop like it was when I was a kid.

So fun for the family. You can bring your own food and drink in. And don't miss Zoo Lights at Christmas and Zoo Boo trick or treating at Halloween.

The membership is worth it. After 2 visits the Individual Plus Membership pays for itself. This zoo is an accredited establishment. It has a ton of interesting (and well cared for animals) available. This is a great place for people of all ages. You could spend a couple hours there or all day.

We went for the big debut of the newest member of the elephant family and it was awesome to see Baby Joy for the first time. We got to see many of the other animals as well. The zoo employees were set up throughout with games for our children to interact in. We also visited the children's splash pad which was a lot of fun as well. It was a cool ending to a hot morning... thumbs up!

My daughter (around 2 years old) just loves this zoo. The enclosures are very nice and she (and her parents) loves how many different animals there are to see. There also is a fun splash pad for a chance for the kids to cool off. Just remember to bring a swimsuit, swim diaper, and water shoes (or bare feet). They have changing rooms at the splash pad. Plan to go early during the summer due to the heat.
