Amazing! Outstanding! Enchanting! Went with a group of friends and decided to dress the part- gals in flapper dresses and the gentlemen in fedoras. It was exciting walking to the "secret entrance" and down the stairs, what I'd imagine going to a speakeasy was like. The entryway was inviting and as it opened up I was amazed at everything down there. The bar is beautiful and large and we had a couple cocktails while waiting for our reservation time. Lovely and tasty selection of cocktails available, I recommend the Disappearing Mule. Our party was sat in a round red velvet booth near "Thurston". The server was patient and attentive, we thoroughly enjoyed all our meals. We walked around to the courtyard while waiting and also checked out some of the magicians. We concluded the evening at the magic show in a cute little theater. It was one of the best nights out in a long time, what a fun gem!

Endless abounding raving reviews from me in regards to this restaurant. I actually feel its even more appropriate to call it an event! Make sure you let your waiter know its the first visit, and they will guide you through a night of outstanding food, and "magical" memories. I don't agree when google tagged this as a "casual" place, because it does require a dinner coat from gentlemen (they do have one you can wear if you do not have one when you visit), and overall is definitely fancy in my book. Highly recommended food options would be: The House Manhattan (cocktail), the Crab Cakes (Appetizer), and the Kobe Burger (Entree and reasonably priced).

This was exceptional. Our entire experience was both entertaining and delicious. Our cocktails were positively inspired. Our waiter was both professional and affable. The ambiance was carefully curated, and it was fun to be in a space with jackets and dresses. The entertainment was personable and truly entertaining. I am not easily amused, I am just skeptical enough about the world that I have a hard time lightening up, and I was truly and completely delighted by it all. I would consider this a Nashville Must Do and will go again. (Food prices are appropriately comparable to a steak house, and considering there is no cover charge, perfectly reasonable. Also, there are no tip charges for entertainment, which I think puts everyone more at ease and warms the environment.)

We had a blast! The food was superb, our waiter Brandon was excellent, staying with us for hours and keeping up with everything. The magicians were excellent and fun. The mentalist blew our minds. I know we’ll be back. And we will be recommending this place to our friends and family. Also, I truly enjoyed wearing my cocktail clothing. The dress code and age limit makes this good adult fun. Thanks for a memorable anniversary night out!!!

What a special place! This is a magic-themed fine dining restaurant that is located underneath the Johnny Cash Museum. The place is lined with antique magic paraphernalia, including some impressively old decks of cards. The ambience is incredible and has to be seen to be believed, as they spared no expense delivering a top-notch experience. The food was a wonderful take on American Cuisine, all high quality ingredients with portion sizes larger than most fine dining places. The courtyard features a waterfall where you can enjoy any of the hand crafted cocktails from the bar. There are also two separate magician stations where you can sit down and enjoy a personal magic show, which is perfect for after dinner, while you wait for the theater magic show to begin. House of Cards seems to be designed to walk around and enjoy, not just to be viewed from the table. Reservations are required and dress code is enforced, as is the no photography policy. This is an incredible experience that I can't recommend highly enough.
