  This is a great local hotel right in the heart of the French Quarter. I give it 5 stars in light of the price of the rooms. It is far from a perfect hotel - you have to remember that it is a 200-300 year old set of buildings that have been cobbled together to make up the St. Pierre. It deserves 5 stars for the location, the charm, the super friendly staff, the neat layout, and its history. The rooms are all different - some are suites, some are small (and I mean SMALL) rooms like ours. But again, I was not paying $300-$400 per night. Our room opened up to a brick patio/courtyard with a pool - we could sit out on the patio and have a glass of wine and interact with the other guest. There were a few maintenance issues - very minor - that the new owners of the St. Pierre ostensibly are working on updating. They were nothing major, though...things like the tub stopper missing. Bed was comfy, location unbeatable, staff friendly and responsive. For those who have given it lower ratings I would ask that they weigh the value of the location, charm, etc with what they paid. This is a great little hotel.

  Muy buena ubicación. Buen desayuno. Pero la parte de las habitaciones un poco DECADENTES y obsoletas. El balcón y la puerta está que se cae ....

  Un lugar rustico y donde descansar, cerca a lo más turístico de la ciudad, buena atención e instalaciones.

  Antes de decidirme por este hotel en mi viaje a Nueva Orleans leí muchas críticas de viajeros que habían sido sus huéspedes. Aunque minoritarias, las adversas me hicieron dudar de la elección. Me alegro de no haber desistido. Acabo de pasar ocho noches en este bonito hotel y mi experiencia ha sido muy agradable, Tanto el personal de administración como de servicio nos hicieron sentir a mi y a mi cuñada, mi compañera de viaje, su permanente disposición de servirnos. No hubo necesidad nuestra que no satisficieran con agrado. La habitación muy acogedora y una cama ¡fantástica! Su cercanía de Bourbon nunca nos impidió el descanso. El silencio era absoluto pese a estar completamente ocupado. Sí deben mejorar el desayuno, único servicio que encuentro criticable. Si vuelvo a Nueva Orleans --seguro que lo haré-- me hospedaría en el St. Pierre sin pensarlo dos veces. Lo recomiendo.
