We booked our room online. The room is clean. Ac,/heater does not work. The thermostat doesn't even power on. When calling guest services, I was told there is nothing they can do for us but move us to another room. It is midnight. The last thing I need at midnight is to pack up my family and move to another room. Was told there is no maintenance person on sight. No one even offered to come take a look at it. Will not be staying here again after this weekend. Extremely dissatisfied in the way it was handled or lack thereof. Seemed like there was no urgency or worry on their end. Windows do not open and was told by the front desk that it is state law. Will look further into this claim. After speaking to management the next day. The windows claim was a lie. The room next door had opening windows. They also had portable ac and fans they could of offered. The parking on the premises. $45 dollars a day parking g in a nearby structure and the meters are only good for 2 hrs at $7.35. The only good part of this hotel was the staff at the bar for breakfast. Cassandra and the night front desk person were amazing.

The room was very small, like being in a shoebox. It was a block length away from the elevator. It was a very long walk through a narrow hallway with a horribly dirty carpet. The coffee machine didn’t work. One of the night lights didn’t work. One of the lights in the bathroom had to be replaced. There was no dresser. We put our cloths in three tiny drawers in a narrow desk. The air conditioner was very loud. The room didn’t feel clean. There was a tiny table, about 18 inches in diameter with a glass top. It had cup rings and fingerprints on it. The only parking was in a parking garage across the street for which we had to pay…very expensive. Between 6pm and 9am you could park on the street if you could find a parking space. We had to walk, at night, 2 block in a somewhat seedy neighbourhood. The restaurant was very good and the staff was very pleasant.

Great downtown location. Room was pretty average for the price but there are limited options around. They don't have parking on-site but do have use of one of the parking garages across the street even when it's closed on weekends (it's not free though). Front desk skipped most of the useful information we needed at check-in.

The hotel is very pretty and has held onto the original charm. The staff is also very kind! The room was furnished nicely but was on the smaller side. The door that connected our room with the one next door had a 2+ inch gap at the bottom and you could see into the next room, we stuffed a blanket under it to keep out the excess noise and from the people staying in the room from seeing into our space. The walls are thin so both our neighbors chatting sounded like people were in the room with us. The bathroom was tiny and not practical at all. There was no bathroom counter space as the bowl sink took up almost all the room and there were no hooks anywhere to hang your towels so we ended up grabbing hangers from the closet and hanging our towels from the shower curtain, otherwise our towels never dried on the shelf provided. The TV barely worked and was glitchy every time we tried to use it. The neighborhood is super convenient with delicious restaurants and coffee all around but it’s not super safe and very dirty. If your looking for a quiet/private stay and for your room to be more then just aesthetically pleasing then this is not the place for you. The price is too high for what is offered here. I wouldn't stay again unless it was a very short stay and/or the price was decreased by at least 1/3.

Awesome location near all my favorite spots! The Hotel bar was a nice surprise. I loved my Espalon Spicy Margarita. The live guitarist was also a very nice touch. I definitely will be back again and again.
